Tripwire Interactive today announced that the first update, Content Patch 01, for its co-op sci-fi horror FPS game, Killing Floor 2 is available now on Steam. Recently teased on the official website, the content update features a brand new map – Volter Manor.
Set against a Swiss cliff side, Volter Manor is a modern fortress with many deadly secrets to hide. Rid the Manor of all Zeds in sight to be rewarded with the coveted dosh.
In celebration of Killing Floor 2’s successful Steam Early Access launch in April, Alan Wilson and Mark Hayler will reprise their infamous voice roles as in-game “classic” loyalty characters, Masterson and Briar for those fans who already own the original Killing Floor game. Also, a fan-favorite feature of the first Killing Floor returns. Now sprinkled throughout the maps in Killing Floor 2 are Item Hunts.

Hey guys,
I've been playing KF2 for weeks now, and loving every second of it. I wanted to take second and share some of the mods that I use to make the game more personal, and more fun for me.
** These mods are all client side, meaning they won't be seen by others, but also won't be flagged as cheating. THERE IS NO WAY TO GET BANNED FOR USING THESE. **
All these mods can be found at: http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/forumdisplay.php?f=213
There are instructions included with each mod to help install it, or I can try to help you here if you still can't get it figured out.
I highly suggest renaming the files you are replacing, instead of overwriting them. If you ever want to undo the mod, this will make it easy. (For example, if you are modding the AA12, rename the current MESH file to AA12_original. That way, when you want to go back, you can delete the mod and rename the original back and it will work again)
Without further ado!
Zedek has also stated that he will be releasing a package of color changers in the future, so you can customize the lights on each of the weapons he releases.

The Clot is an enemy in Killing Floor.
OverviewEdit
The Clot is a bloodied and nude male human with brownish skin, various cuts on his body, no penis, and blood around his mouth (suggesting that he's been eating humans before being encountered). They will constantly walk forward until they get close enough to use their melee attack. Clots attack by grabbing the player and biting them until either the Clot or the player dies.
Clots will be encountered in every wave, making them the most numerous enemies in Killing Floor. In most cases, they either serve as meatshields for stronger enemies or to give the team an easy group of enemies to deal with after fighting off several powerful enemies at once, such as multiple Fleshpounds and Sirens.
Beheaded Clots will no longer be able to grab anyone. Instead, they'll just swing at a target.
If someone is killed by or near a Clot, they will start eating the body of the deceased (or the initial location where someone died if their ragdoll goes flying).
TacticsEdit
Historical DataEdit1.0 DemoEdit
Clots first appeared in the 1.0 Demo. They are the slowest enemy in the Demo, but can still be a threat because of how many the game sends at the player. Faster enemies, like the Gorefast and Stalker, tend to use up the more bullets because they come to the player faster than Clots do, giving the player less ammo for dealing with Clots. Their attack does 7 base damage and 4 extra damage. They cannot grab the player.
1.0Edit
Clots have received a better model in Killing Floor 1.0, but otherwise the same as they are in the 1.0 Demo. Clots are accompanied by Wretches and Infected Soldiers early on, but they usually come with Gorefasts, Scrakes and Fleshpound in later waves. Their attack does 7 base damage and 4 extra damage. They cannot grab the player.
2.0Edit
Like every other enemy, the Clot received an all-new model in Killing Floor 2.0. This model is much closer to the 2.5 model, but is much cleaner and has paler skin. They still have cuts on their body and blood their their mouth. They still don't have their grab attack and do 7 base damage and 4 extra damage. Clots appear in every wave.
Upcomming Forum Overhaul
We are starting the work to switch our forums, which have been based on a version of the Vbulletin forum software since their inception with the Red Orchestra mod (then VB 3 and currently VB 5.1) to an all new forum software called Xenforo. After researching it, we feel Xenforo is a better choice for the future as it has a vibrant modding and addon community that will allow us to extend the functions of these forums in ways players will enjoy.
As part of this, at some point in the near future these forums will be locked down so we cant merge over all of the existing content into the new forum database. It will likely then be a few more days as we work on the new forum and correct any issues from the merge. Privay Policy Update
We’ve updated the Tripwire Privacy Notice under our Policies to be clearer about our use of customer information to come in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) rules that come into force today (25th May 2018). The following are highlights of our changes:
We’ve incorporated the relevant concepts from the GDPR including joining the EU and Swiss Privacy Shield framework. We’ve added explanations for why and how Tripwire processes customer data and the types of data that we process, as well as information about your data protection rights. Username, Avatar and Signature Rules
Netiquette: Written text has no inflection, and, as such, you should be careful how you write your messages as interpretation will vary from person to person. Please take advantage of the built-in emoticons to add such expression to your words. Please remember the golden rule: to treat other forum users the way you would like to be treated. Please use common courtesy, and enjoy using Red Orchestra's forums
The following is a list of some things that MAY be considered 'offensive' by the moderators and the team. This is NOT an exclusive list and it does depend very much on context.Crossing the line into 'offensive' territory is likely to get you asked to change your name, sig or avatar or to withdraw/delete posts. This will be done politely by the moderators. If you refuse to comply further action WILL be taken once started, ultimately leading to banning from the forums. A key point: please attempt to use your brains. What is mild humour to you may well be deeply offensive to others. While we have no intention of acting as politically-correct 'thought police', we are on the lookout for those things that can cause offense and, in some cases, are actually still illegal in some jurisdictions.
Examples: So people get the idea, some examples that would be considered offensive, numbered as above:
A simple rule-of-thumb: many Europeans find Nazi symbolism of any sort offensive; many Americans still find Soviet symbolism offensive. Engage your brain before using.
Final Note: this is NOT open to debate, so please do NOT start whining and moaning if a moderator asks you to change something. They will advise at first, giving reasons, then, if you take no notice, they will step up the pressure through to banning.

Unlocking Weapon Skins – Killing Floor 2
There are a lot of disgusting and bloody monsters in Killing Floor 2, but thankfully there is a way to add more color to this macabre FPS. In Killing Floor 2 there’s a variety of weapons, and you can actually obtain skins for them that will give your gun a different paint job. While these weapon skins do not directly impact the weapon’s performance, they are a nice way to personalize your gear. However, obtaining them is a bit tricky since you cannot outright purchase them individually.
Instead, the best way to go about getting new skins is via the Weapon Skin Crates that can either be purchased for real world money on their storefront or by obtaining them via drops at the end of matches. Each brand of crate has its own series, and each series will only contain one weapon skin of a random rarity. These can range from a spectrum of rarity so it’s impossible to predict exactly which one you will nab.
Crates will require keys to unlock and gain your loot so keep that in mind when you are farming. You do not have to purchase crate keys as they can drop at the end of matches, which means you are able to gain skins without spending a single cent.
The fastest way to earn skins outside of paying real money is to either solo play or group play, as you are possibly rewarded one at the end of each match. You can get one even if you lose, but it’s believed that you have a better chance in unlocking a Weapon Skin Crate if you win. However, you can only earn one reward every day and only after a half hour of play so keep that in mind. It’s also possible to just directly unlock weapon skins without crates, but you will not be able to choose which gun they go on. While these weapon skins aren’t required to enjoy the game, it does make it entertaining when you have a classic 1950’s soda ad on the side of your shotgun.
